In honor of Steve McQueen’s racing legacy and the eponymous Barbour International collection, available exclusively at Macy’s, we’ve created three custom Triumph Street Scramblers full of special Barbour International details. Read on to discover the customizations and learn how you can win one of the bikes.
Legendary actor and motorcyclist Steve McQueen famously wore a Barbour International wax cotton suit and rode a Triumph TR6 during the 1964 International Six Day Trial (ISDT) in Erfurt, East Germany, as a member of the U.S. team.
To honor his legacy and celebrate this season’s collection, we’ve partnered with Triumph to customize three 2019 Street Scramblers with inspiration from Steve McQueen’s bike. With customizations completed at Jesse Spade Designs in Atlanta, GA, the motorcycles will be delivered to three lucky winners later this autumn.

Each motorcycle’s tank features the distinctive Barbour International logo and has been painted using Triumph metallic colors: Korosi Red and Aluminum Silver with a Crystal White metallic pinstripe.
The number boards have been custom painted with #278, as a nod to Steve McQueen’s famous competition number, which he used at the ISDT in 1964.
Barbour International DNA is included throughout the seats and handlebar brace pads, with black wax cotton fabric upholstery and red stitching. Each bike features a brushed aluminum rear rack.

Starting this month, you can see one of the bikes in person at the following Macy’s locations: Herald Square in New York City, State Street in Chicago, and Union Square in San Francisco.
