autumn winter 2018
To give you some gifting inspiration, we’ve chatted to some of our friends to learn what they’re asking for this Barbour International Christmas…
Mike Hill of Survivor Customs
B.Intl Steve McQueen™ Washer Overshirt: I pretty much live in checked shirts; however most of mine are now covered in burn holes from grinding and welding, so I’m definitely in need of a smart new one! I’d layer this under a jumper and jacket for winter, and then wear on its own over a T-shirt when the weather starts to warm up – and it wouldn’t ever be going anywhere near my welding torch.
B.Intl Steve McQueen™ Voxan Crew – in Copper: When I go away for a weekend of racing, I always need to pack plenty of warm and comfortable gear to change into, as it can get pretty cold camping next to a race track. This crew neck ticks the most important boxes, plus the colour would make a nice change from all of the black I usually wear. I’d just need to keep it away from my oily rags…
B.Intl Endo Waterproof Breathable Jacket: When you live in the North East of England, you need to invest in a good waterproof winter jacket, as you’ll get plenty of use out of it! I really like the classic biker styling of this jacket; it’s functional without being fussy, plus it has a hood, which I’d definitely want for walking the dog along the beach in the depths of winter.

B.Intl Carbon Half Zip Jumper: I really like the new Carbon project collection, so you’ll find that all of my selections are from that range. The Carbon Half Zip Jumper would be great for an under layer when riding my motorcycle; especially now that the weather has turned. Summer seems a long way away, so this will keep me nice and warm in the meantime!
B.Intl Carbon Hoodie: A good hoodie is essential and something I’m lacking at the moment. I love the added details in the carbon hoodie, which make it a stand out piece for me. Would love this for the colder months when layering up is key.
B.Intl Carbon Waxed Cotton Jacket: As you can see from my choices, I tend to wear black quite often. I’m not sure why this is - maybe it makes choosing what to wear much easier! I already have a Barbour International Wax Jacket, but this in black would be a great addition to my winter wardrobe.

B.Intl Original Wax Jacket: This jacket was designed in 1936 and is still relevant today. The classic wax jacket has been a staple in both motorcycle and scooter culture, and the fact that the jacket has remained unchanged in all this time really is testament to good design.
B.Intl Steve McQueen Merchant Jacket: The combination of the classic style which is re-worked with the traditional Barbour wax material Barbour International is known for works really well on this jacket. It is a good weight for riding, offering warmth and wind protection.
B.Intl Carbon Crew Neck Jumper: This style is a great contemporary sweatshirt with a technical edge; the kind of thing that you can wear every day. The subtle black monochrome branding along with the raglan sleeves and textured fabric give it a smart modern look which would be a welcome addition to my winter attire.
